I had a similiar experience. I took my car out for a drive and it started bucking and surging bad. What I found was a loose coupler on the intake. Easy to get to I just re-adjusted it, and tightened it back up. After that the car was A-1. Actually it has happened to me a few times after messing around with stuff and not putting the coupler on right. As soon as a little boost goes through it blows the coupler out of place if it is not on correctly.
I would suggest you check all your coupler connections to make sure they are completely on and sealed and tightly clamped down.
