Bill,
After reading your posts, the hp66 or hp 72's will be the choice i would go..
As Robert correctly stated , we had the hp66's on the 358cube sbc, @ 29 psi , they where on song..
spool up was good too

I have since put the hp 72's on the same motor, and since i have more air now, we are reving it harder, and also got more boost ( 35 + psi)

The GTK's will spool quicker, hands down no agruements... Ive had twin gtk 550's , and gtk 1000's hybrids ,(with gtk 850 hotside). These GTK's out spool the standard T series, due to the special surge slots in comp housings.
In saying that, the gross air flow ( hp from turbos) , will be the same.
GTK 1000 = HP76 comp wheel = T76 turbo.

Think about it this way.... if you can get the turbos up to speed quicker, and run to 1/2 track faster, not many people will pass you down the other end....
so, a slightly smaller turbo, will spool quicker , and turbine speed acceleration will be faster with smaller wheels, ( less mass to spin up..)
HP66 comp wheel , matched to the F1-65 turbine housing, is hard to go past....

hope this helps
ash
