Default needin help on a idea for my S-10

I'm wantin to go all out drag with my truck now. I already have the truck's back half railed and tubed... the motor i had in it before was good for street strip (500- 550hp)... I want to keep a lot of the same parts sayin all the money i spent and as little time is on the motor.. 12,000 miles... it's a Motown block done out to a 383.. AFR's 227cc eliminator racing heads(65cc) ... Scat's 4340 forged rotating assembly w/flat tops... Crane's mechanical roller 280/288 A.D 630 lift cam... roller rockers(1.5)... MSD 6 AL box.. Victor Jr high rise (CNC port matched) 1000CFM Demon carb... right now I'm running about a 10.5-1 CR... Now I know I can up he CR, get a custom cam, get a hotter ignition and get a bigger intake... but even if i do all that I'll top out around the 750 - 800 hp mark... when I'm looking for a more stupid crazy number as my family puts it of 1000 - 1300 hp to the rear wheels... While still keepin the 383 cube... and what I'm thinkin is twin turbo(30 psi or so) with a 8.5-1 CR about the same cam, a EFI system and an little bit hotter ignition should do it.. I wanna keep the rpm a little bit lower cause of the boost(6700-7200 rpm)...

But what I need to know is has any one done this before, if so what all problems am i lookin at, what would be the best turbos to do the job, who makes a good EFI system that'll work for me, and with all that added together will it make the power i want... If not what would while keepin the 383 cube.. Thanks for the help...

if you are looking for over 1000 HP then a GT-K 1000 is probably a bit on the small side. A Y2K T88 would give you enough airflow for 1500 HP and if you ran both banks into the turbine spool up should be no issue with the 383 stroker.
