For a Big Block Chevy there's a few turbos that work for that power goal. The GT-K 500s or 550s would be a good choice. You'd also need a pair of wastegates for a twin turbo, an intercooler would be a good idea and a bypass or blow off valve to handle surge. Then it would just be a matter of tuning the car for boost with the carb. For starters though I would highly recommend you pick up a book called Maximum Boost by Corky Bell and read through it at least once. There is a lot of good information in there about turbocharging, system planning, and information you would need before you got started.
