Default Weight of turbo kit?

How much would you say the TN Kit for the Spec V or Scion TC weigh? I know the Turbo and Manifold would be the heaviest part but the Aluminum IC piping is light as hell. I would think all together 40 - 50lbs maybe???

Well the Z kit is about 150lbs all said. The Spec V and Tc kit are probably close to that. Somewhere in the 100lb range. But the weight is spread out a bit.

wow holy shit that's way heavier than I thought. What about just upfront weight then? like the weight to JUST the motor? Now that I think about it I guess that weight makes a lot of sense I wasn't taking into consideration the DP and stuff. I remember the DP being pretty damn heavy along with the turbo and manifold.

Well pretty much all the weight is up front on the motor. Thats where the turbo kit goes. At least the heaviest parts. But its not like you are just putting a 100lb weight on top the of the motor. The weight is distributed throughout the engine bay. It is basically an increase on the front end only though. You can counter some of the affect to your suspension but slightly increasing the ride height of the front and stiffning the dampning on the front struts..
