Default wondering what turbo/turbos would work best

im putting together a 496 chev that will be 9:1 compression with all forged internals and afr heads. this will be a street driven set up and i was wondering what the best turbo or turbo's to use on it. i have a fast xfi fuel injection for it with 3 bar map but can upgrade all the way to 5 bar but im sure that much boost on the street would lead to severe tire wear

any insight on this would be appreciated.
Thanks

You can find more info on the GT-K turbos here:

http://www.turboneticsownersclub.com...opic.php?t=258

That turbo should get you 1000 WHP easily... The S trim turbine wheel also flows extremely well and with the F1 design should still spool up very quickly. Although I doubt you will need much help spooling a turbo with a 496. If you wanted more then that I'd start looking at the Y2K line.

Well spooling up and finding room for one big unit capable of 1500 HP is easier then trying to find room for two units that could match that power output. Plus upgrading later for even more power is a bit easier

It should work extremely well. But if you want to get some real time info I suggest giving Sales a call at 805-581-0333 Monday morning and they can spec out a turbo customized to your needs.
