Default chasing info for older turbo

hey guys i was wondering if u could help me out with my turbo i have just bought it off ebay and have had as hardtime finding out some things bout i like is it ball bearing core etc? anyways theres a few serial numbers located on the comp housings on the back of the outlet it has the code 20192 and the backing plate is 20196. the core doesnt really have any serials on it but has either m20 or m26 stamped in it. on the exhaust housing it has 1.00 stamped on the inside and a little raised section with m1 stamped on it and on the inlet flange has the code 407263-23 stamped on it other then that thats it cause it has had a dump pipe flange welded on not sure why though. i haven taken any of the impellers off but the exhaust one has 11 fins. anyways tats about it so any info u could give me about it would be greatly appreciated
p.s whats the easiest way just by looking at it to tell if its a standard or bb cor plus how do you guys think this would go on a rb30 (3 litre) engine?
cheers
ben

Can you post a pic of this unit? I'll ask about that serial number but from everything else you said its either an extremely old unit or not a Turbonetics turbo at all.

yea sure here ya go and yeah it loos like a turbonetics to me it has the raised t on the compressor housing plus turbonetics written on the backing plate. i also forgot to mention there is a v stamped into it at the outlet of the compressor housing.it has also had some work done to it like the internal wastegate bracet welded onto the housing etc.. if its any help to yas heres te description that was given on ebay..

Description Seller assumes all responsibility for listing this item.

Here we have a nizpro modified T4 turbonetics tubo. This turbo was custom built for a VL commodore with a rb30 at the cost of $3500 i will include the dump pipe if it goes for a decent amount . But it would be great on any engine around the 3 litre capacity.this turbo is a oil and water cooled turbo.it was only on the car for about 5000kms and wasnt boosted hard at all due to the engine only having standard internals so it is still in very good condition. So if you wont a huge power upgrade for your car throw in a bid.If you have any questions you are more then welcome to e mail me.happy biding

That turbo is ancient and its not likely the serial number will be in the system. There should be a serial number on the compressor backplate that starts with a T. Can you give me that?
