turbo upgrades > progress pics
First, thanks to T'netics for the water-cooled jacket, works GREAT.
My car is in for a new tuning session with Twins Turbo in Signal Hill, California. Some of you already know the motor is fully built (rods, pistons, head, valves, cams), so here are just the current upgrades and a few pics. Hoping to make some nice power next week!
MoTec M400 management
custom wiring harness (GP motorsports)
World Racing TBC-1 boost controller
oil cooler
oil crank breather kit
C & R aluminum radiator
external fuel pump
FPR with gauge
fuel return line
modified fuel rail
New Turbo --- JUST KIDDING!

I'm curious -- does anyone know how much boost this T3/T4 can take?

20+ PSI for sure. About 29 PSI is the peak flow on the efficiency island...

We'll be doing two rounds of tuning, first on pump gas, 15-18 pound range.
Then we'll tune with race gas to the limit she'll produce, I know we'll be in the 25 pound range for that. Good to know we're within a reasonable range for the turbo -- something else will probably fail first, LOL.
