[hibbcase]

Hey I've got an 01 vw GTI VR6. it's got a turbonetics turbo. When I get it wrapped up to about 5 to 6 grand I can hear the wastegate dump. It doesn't sound right though. It then closes, and dumps a second later. It will do this enough to surge and blow off the intercooler tubing. I'm kinda looking where to start. Would it be a Boost control issue or is it a sticky, or poorly adjusted wastgate? Any help is appreciated.
