The reflash is not done by Unichip. The ECU is reflashed using Tectom hardware by Turbonetics. (Similar to the Technosquare reflash). That being said with most piggybacks and ECU flashes its difficult if not impossible to set a target AFR. That is usually only available to the aftermarket world via stand alone ECU. The target AFR the Turbonetics tunes too is pretty rich indeed to account for all manner of mods someone might have on their car. With a 3" downpipe back exhaust I usually see cars in the 11.0-11.5:1 AFR range. Stock exhausts or b pipes makes that a bit richer...

Sorry i misunderstood the unichip reflash thing that is what it's called in my manual (In refrance to the computer huh). I am running a 3" cat delete exhaust sys. the downpipe on the t-netics kit is i think 2 3/4. Is it possable to run a stand alone sys on the 02 spec? Does anyone make a harnes for my car so i don't have to cut and spice? And is 11.5 where i should be? I have been serching the web to try and find any info with no luck. Once again sorry to bug... This is my first turbo car and there is know one in my area to ask these questions. If i where driving a desel truck i would have know problems getting answers here (bunch a corndicks;). You can remove the question if you want. Thank you Robert

Its not a problem. On most street cars under boost on a stock motor yes you want to be in the 11.5:1 AFR range. As for a standalone anyone can make one work. Its a matter of how much you want to spend on doing so...

You'll need something to tune with. I went with Zeixtronic Zt-2 + Apexi NEO, and street tuned via the NEO for high throttle (open loop, 3K RPM till redline). With the reflash from TN, I was seeing 9.9:1 AFR and my fuel millage was ~12.5L/100KM. After street tuned, I am now at 11.3-11.5:1 AFR...car feels a lot stronger and I am getting ~10.5L/100KM.

Standalone is overkill for 8-9PSI and $$$.
