Default New to Forum

Hi guys and gals!

My name is Larry and I'm new to this Forum. I am the owner of a 2004 350Z 6sp Touringg model. Thanks to the information on this forum along with the valuable data and opinions, I've decided to have a Turbonstics single turbo kit installed in my Z next week. I have added a few mods over the years such as headers, Injen true dual exhausr, high flow cats, Crawford plenum, Injen CAI, under pulley kit and a 2" suspension drop. Now it's time fpor some serious HP!

As far as "who" I am, hers'a a short bio - 58 yrs old, corporate executive, married to a great woman for 35 years, no kids, 'have a 6 year old Westie Terrier that I LOVE, not a bad mechanic when it comes to older cars, live on Long Island, have been into cars since the 60's (muscle car era)..before most of you were even born I'm sure...and lastly an obsessed guitar player.

Again, thanks for all the info. I'll post again when the Turbo is installed, up and running

Thanks Ed!

I've heard that the performance difference between what my Z is now versus what it'll be like "after" is like night and day.

I have no idea what that means in the way of performance. I'm assuming the installer means it'll be a lot quicker.

Did you see a very obvious increase in performance?

I had a friend that added a nitrous kit to his Mustang (with a/t) and some days depending on weather conditions, it felt no more agressive than passing gear. I believe it was a 50 shot.

Thanks Ed. I'm having it done by Performance Nissan. They did the mods on my Z when I first got it in 2004. I know the owner.

Ed, very NICE looking Z. Sorry I forgot to mention that in my last post.

How does it feel with the turbo in it? Have you clocked any 0~60 or 1/4 mile times?

Are you local to Long island? Know if there any Z clubs?

Haha thanks Larry the Z was a preorder since I just had to get that color. I am actually in Southern California now as I relocated from NY around 1996. The difference when the boost kicks in is amazing you will see how much of a difference she will be.
