Default GT-K 325 for 4G63 auto

Hello gang.

I own a stock automatic Mitsubishi Airtrek Turbo which comes with a 4G63 engine and a Mitsu Td04 turbo.
I want to upgrade to the new Gt-K 325 cause from my readings it seems superior to all the rest.

Since I want to retain the early spooling and 300whp goal (auto tranny good for 350) I think the entry level Gt-k would be suitable for me.

My questions are:
1. What injector size is suitable to run on pump gas.
2. Is there an exhaust manifold available to fit the gt-k to the (evo 8 layout) engine.

There should be some manifolds out there to bolt a T3 flange to a DSM motor. Try Road Race Engineering for one. As far as what injectors what are you ultimate power goals?

Hi Robert,
Well my ultimate is sadly narrowed down to what my auto-tranny can take. I beleive 300whp is my goal and prefer a quick spooling turbocharger. It will be a daily driver, weekend racer.
My engine layout is same as the Evo 8, therfore the turbo will sit opposite to the DSM motor (like the talon, eclipse etc)... so will the t3 manifold work with the gt-k for me?
Below is my present "virgin" layout.

Assuming that you can find a decent T3 flange manifold then yes the GT-K will work well for you. I would say go with 550 cc injectors or larger based on your power goals.

I wish to know without bias which unit is better for my application and and why.

Turbonetics Gt-K 325 versus Garrett GT2876

I have no experience with any and so I need to make a decision soon.

I presently hv maps for the Garrett but none for Turbonetics.

Please help!!!!!!

If you are talking about peak flow the GT-K 325 will outflow the GT2876 easily.

Which spools faster?
The map for gt2876r begins @ about 3000rpm.
With my stock MHI tdo4 setup (comes in @ 2600rpm) is good for me since its auto, but falls of about 5000rpm. Will the gt-k 325 carry me all the way to 7000rpm?

Also, I have read that these ceramic ball bearing turbo do not work well with oem oil pressure and therefore some oil restrictor is necessary for proper turbo installation.
Is there a oil line with restrictor available?
What is wet bearing tpye?

Sorry for novice questions but I need to know some stuff before I buy.
