Default Turbonetics Hires Brian Regnier, a veteran of turbocharger application and design engineering, as New Director of Engineering

Turbonetics is pleased to announce the hiring of Brian Regnier of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA as its Director of Engineering. For the past 22 years, Brian has been involved in the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), aftermarket, and motorsport turbocharger engineering. Brian got his start with Warner-IHI Turbochargers (Shelbyville, IL) in 1990 and had been with Honeywell Turbo Technologies (manufacturer of Garrett™ turbochargers) in Torrance, California for the past 16 years. While at Honeywell Turbo Technologies, Brian held the position of Senior Engineer, working with OEM, motorsports teams, and aftermarket entities. During this time he authored the “Turbo Tech 103” and “Diesel Tech” articles, which are commonly referenced for advanced turbocharger information. In addition, Brian holds several patents in turbocharger design. “We are pleased to welcome Brian as a member of our team,” said Brad Lewis, president of Turbonetics. “His depth of industry-specific experience and expertise make Brian a valuable asset to Turbonetics." Brian attended University of Illinois (Champaign-Urbana, IL). He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering with focus on internal combustion engines and vehicle dynamics. Brian is an avid marathon runner, cyclist, and scuba diver. In addition to physical activities, he enjoys taking his turbocharged Honda Civic out to participate in high performance driving events at race tracks around southern California.
