Question about open down pipe

Ok so i have a 06 G35 coupe with the a stage 1 kit on it and i was thinking about making it a have a opened waste gate vs the closed. Is this something that is possible? If so what do you have to do? I though just removing the pipe from the down pipe to the waste gate and then making the dump and covering the open whole on the down pipe.

Yes it's possible and has been done before. I would recommend having a shop weld you a dump tube and cap off the old return piping.
