Default Exhaust housing.

hi guys, im new to the forum.

i bought a new T72 Q trim with the .81 3" vband.
this is a fairly big turbo, i was wondering if turbonetics made the same exahust housing but with a 4" vband.
i cant seem to find anything on there site.
also would maybe a garrett exhaust housing fit this T72, since there are many options.

Turbonetics doesn't have any 4" v band turbine housings for that turbine wheel no sorry.

im wondering if an exhaust housing from a TC72 would work.
i cant seem to find any info on a TC series turbo's.
this person says he has 4" exhaust housing's for this turbo.

sorry to bring this old post back but i would really like a 4" vband for my turbo.

Turbonetics doesn't make a TC series. There is a company that buys specially configured units from Turbonetics and then modifies them and calls them a TC series. That being said Turbonetics doesn't make the Q trim tubine wheel anymore. The new s trim turbine wheels which replaced the q trim don't use the same turbine housings

thanks for the info

so a 3" exhaust wont restrict this turbo then im guessing?
i have a full 3" mandrel bent exhaust with no cat or muffler.

i suppose i could always do a 3" to 4" adapter if i really wanted a 4" exhaust.

It's not likely no. A true 3" should be plenty big for that turbine.
