Default Please help t78

I need a compressor map for a t78 strim f1 wheel any takers? This is on an engine that will probably push 82lbs/min @6500rpm @ 20psi so the pr would be about 2.36. This is for a 5.4liter motor. Street/strip with using two a/r ratios or covers to change for max performance or street fun. Thank you for all of your help.

No, this is not a y2k. I'm not 100% on the lb/min it might be 80lb/min I doubt it is much less at that level. My intercooler is rated extremely efficient and the map should move to the right if memory serves. This is the large 60 (T) series based turbo T4 flange with a 1.15 for drag racing and a .96 for everyday use. Thanks.

If this is a midframe HP78 compressor peak power at the crank should be near 1100 HP. There isn't a map available for the HP78 unfortunately..

The turbine is 81/69. Comp wheel would be 78/102 and the weight of the unit is 19lbs

I was told it was a T series turbo that is all I know. It is not a midframe housing to my knowledge. It has a billet backing (gold I think) that is all I can answer. Just wanting to know what to expect. Thanks for any help.

Thats a 78mm turbo for sure and it sounds like an F1-68 turbine wheel. Does your turbo look/sound like the attached?

I think the midframe might be too large, I'm not sure. The turbo was from FI. BG is doing my hotside and I was just trying to figure out what it actually is. I know it is not a TC (small) and not the GTM (large race cover) it is right in between. It is not the hurricane either. I think they stuffed the F1 wheel in it. But I was told it is an s-trim and has a gold colored billet backing plate. Does this not sound right?

When I asked FI they keep saying it is a normal T-series. So I suppose it is like this:

T Series Turbochargers | www.TurboneticsInc.com - Boosting Since 1978 | turbochargers, intercoolers, wastegates, blow-off valves, controls, boosting systems, turbo kits, forced induction parts & accessories

Any more info I can actually get on this thing? I have rummaged through the forums and there is not much on it. Thank you.

Oh and this uses a journal bearing and not a ball bearing as well. Thank you.
