Default How do i install an Air/Fuel Gauge into a scion tc?

The O2 sensor on the scion tc has 4 wires. Blue, White, and two black wires. I hooked up my glowshift air/fuel gauge to each one of the wires and none of them seemed to work.I was wondering if there was a different way to hook up a narrowband sensor rather than having to do a wideband setup. I have heard that you cannot hook up a narrowband because of the way toyota set it up. Im hoping that i wouldnt have to spend more money on an AFC just to see how rich the unichip is making my car run.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the primary O2 sensor on a Scion is a wideband I believe. If so then no a Narrow Band gauge will not work. Thats just one reason not use one. The other is that they are horribly inaccurate. They are only even close to accurate at WOT but even then the readings are very far off. Get a wideband. You can get an AEM UEGO for about $285 shipped these days.
