But if i put a 3AN line and the oil smoke from the exhaust keeps coming, then the turbo is to be send back to US....

Why wasnt that said...? Such as, buy -4an fittings for GTKs, > 500 for example...
And why should i have to buy a -3an line now...it is not that cheap you know...
I wish it was stated clearly...Having everything working perfectly and having oil smelling in your exhaust really sucks...I am so dissapointed...?
Well not every car is the same. Some cars have really low oil pressure by design and require a -4 AN line to get the proper volume of oil to the same size turbo that you have. Other cars like yours don't need a -4 AN line as you have sufficient pressure and volume. Like anything else in the automotive world there is no black and white on exactly how to set up your car. I'm sorry you are disappointed. I certainly would have recommended the -3 line if we had spoken before you purchased the other line and installed it.

Im just about to finish an install with a GTK 450.

I used a -4AN inlet.

My oil pressure is 100psi on a cold start and then down to 75psi.

should a restrictor be used and if so what size?

on a side note, I purchased the Turbo from Summit Racing (i live in the UK).
I called the Turbonetics UK distributor to ask them this technical question and was told where to go as the turbo wasnt purchased from them.

not exactly a shining example of promoting Turbonetics good name.

Go on ebay and search for an oil restrictor by obx (the fitting is a straight one) BUT DO NOT EXPECT TO HAVE WARRANTY!!! Use at your own risk.......
