Default Help with T 62-1

I purchased a T62-1 with .96ar. It is about 5 years old and not a bb. I was told it needs a new turbine wheel. I was quoted $575 to replace it. I thought about doing it myself but I am not sure how technical it would be. The other problem is finding the part that will fit.

Any help with parts or advise will be appreciated!

Thanks in advance

If it's 5 years old I'm not sure the original wheel will be available anymore. Do you know what turbine wheel you have? That would help determine if a newer model even exists for that

Robert, thanks for taking time to respond. I took the housing off and measured the turbine. These are my results:

2.482 Minor (63 mm)
2.872 Major (73 mm)
11 blades

I know it is a big shaft.

It has no thrust play and .006 (.1524mm) shaft play. (Does it need bearings?)

The turbine shows some damage but no chuncks or pieces missing. I am no expert but I think it might be usable.

Well the 11 blades tells me its a non-F1 turbine wheel. Turbonetics doesn't even have any of those older wheels left with which to rebuild the unit. The measurements don't really line up with anything I'm familiar with though. Are you sure it actually is a Turbonetics unit?
