Help With this turbo
Hi,
Thanks in advance with this turbo....
Im not too sure of this one, on the back plate (gold) there is a sticker with T-25394. The housing is polished with Turbonetics in red, however there are no other markings. The exhaust housing is a 5 bolt (T3/4)...
The problem: I bought this as a replacement for my older T3/4 until I get my rebuild kit, however upon receiving it, I noticed the shaft wobbled, and there was a lot of side to side shaft play. The next morning, I noticed the compressor wheel had a broken blade, and another was cracked... no biggie, I can just rebuild it and replace the compressor wheel... unfortunately, I am unable to tell which wheel I will need, or the if I need to replace shaft since it feels a little grooved or chewed up where the second bearing would be.
Anyway, can you help me identify this turbo? Again, the only part number I found was the T-25394 on the Gold back plate, and 20381 stamped on the inside .
