Default Oil psi

It's hard to search for Oil PSI with it being small words and the search options doesn't like it.

I have an HP-66, and wondering what oil PSI should I be pushing to it? I'm waiting for my oil gauge to come in, but my 'cheap' tests show I'm pushing around 70 psi at startup. not sure my cruising yet, maybe around 50 psi or so...

That should be no issue at all. The bigger concern is running oil PSI at 90+

we ran the hp66's last year @ 30 psi boost
oil was 65psi cold startup , 110 psi at the finish line

zero problems...
if you put a smallish aircleaner on the front, the comp wheel sometimes pulls oil in from behind the seal.

we run large cleaarances in the motor, and heavy oil..
ttsbc

most problems have been excess crank case pressure , and too small a drain
