Default air straightners

I have a 2007 mustang gt with a Turbonetics kit.Last week i was working with my tuner to bring the boost up 12 -14 psi was working fine until 3rd to 4th gear shift at about 5800 rpm then car felt like it cut fuel then started running normally.Pullled over to see if any thing let loose, nothing apparent,so kept driving to home, another 5km.All my guages were working fine, boost, wideband a/f,fuel pressure, and oil pressure. The next day i go out for quick trip and my A/F is pegged rich, and as soon as i start giving it more on the gas it starts stumbiling, like it doesn't get enough gas.I don't drive for couple days trying to troubleshoot this so I start ripping kit apart from throttle body back, this is where it gets interesting.I pull out maf sensor,it is covered in bits of aluminum.I am thinking wtf is this, pull the throttle body charge pipe off and all sorts of aluminum bits fall out.{On this particular kit you have to have 2 honeycomb air straightners or it cant be tuned properly the air is too turbulant)After that is pulled off I notice that the first straightner is no longer where I installed it but fell backwards into the elbow of the next pipe.I pull it out and it seem too be missing at least a 1/4"all the way around, and I do not believe i recovered all the bits.I wonder how long my brand new built block will last now only 1500miles on it+wahtever the wrecked honeycomb air straightner has now put on it.How would this happen,is there any quality control?I so wish I would have done more research on turbo kits before I purchased this one

Well for starters can I see some pics of the damage? Turbonetics has a 12 month 12000 mile warranty on the kit so any damaged kit pieces will be replaced free of charge

There is the pics.I am past warrenty period as I bought this kit used ,but had brand new air straightners the fit in very snugly, as you can see the larger honeycomb doesn't fit quite as snug as it should.I have already talked toTurbonetics about this and they will be shipping out new air straightners monday. That is my last concern,I am more concerned about what got past the second smaller honeycomb and sucked into my engine..
