Default Turbo ID and wastegate assistance

Hey Gurus!

New to the boards here and about to be a new owner of this turbo

http://www.vadriven.com/forums/attac...5&d=1288721099

The serial seems to be a F0802? Any information on if this turbo? According to his research its a 50 trim? Is this true? Also I am setup to run internally gated and came across this Turbonetics 30298 Turbonetics Internal Wastegate Accessories which would conver the 5 bolt discharge external to a 3 bolt internal. What are the gurus thoughts on this?

That number is not any serial number I'm aware of though to be honest that unit looks pretty old. Turbonetics hasn't made that compressor housing in almost 10 years. That wastegate housing should do the trick for an internal gate but you also need the actuator and valve itself as well. Part numbers for the whole set of parts are in the catalog on page 9. 2011 Catalog | www.TurboneticsInc.com - Boosting Since 1978 | turbochargers, intercoolers, wastegates, blow-off valves, controls, boosting systems, turbo kits, forced induction parts & accessories

In all honestly I don't even think if it had a serial number I could tell you what it is. It's just too old to be in the build computer. If you get the inducer and major wheel measurements for the compressor and the exducer and major diameters for the turbine wheel i could try to tell you what it is.
