Hello new to turbos(need advice)This might take a while
Hello I have a 72 Nova 3600 pounds 4.10 gears 295/65/15 mtsr 496cu 990 heads turbo 400/w brake.
I am a nitrous guy and i am converting over to a 101mm turbo. the fastest the car ran was a 9.84@135mph.at BIR. Ok I am starting off with just the turbo i need waste gate(s?)a blow off, a regulator, i am going to make the headers(unless some ones got a set for sale)also need a ignition box,and maybe a air to air cooler(do i need one?)and a hat.Could you guys point me in the right direction?like what sizes and any other info that might help me on the way.I am a good learner
Thanks and don't be shy anything and everything will be appreciated. I take some hate too if needed.

I hate to do this but the best advice I can offer is a book titled Maximum Boost by Corky Bell. I could start putting down recommendations but if you read that book it would help you understand this much more.

No as that really goes more towards tuning then turbocharger system design. Generally speaking I would run at least one heat range colder plugs than factory and if you have to run on 91 stay on the conservative (rich) side when you are in boost.

My plan is to run 103.77 lbs/min at a 1.68 p/r
Is there a 101mm compressor chart some where.
With the nitrous i have 3 sizes colder all ready. should i buy hotter ones?
And what would be rich for a turbo? I see the procharger guy s running in the 12 range on 93. i think that is lean am i wrong?

I typically don't run leaner than 11.5:1 on 91 but I have to admit I've mostly run imports.
