Need help picking a/r on twin set up
I am wanting to run twin T76 on a 427ci sbf looking to make 1300rwhp and rpm range will be 6800-7300. My question is will the F1 68 wheel with a .96 a/r work or do I need the .81 a/r. And any thoughts on the F1 65 with my combo. Thanks

I think the F1-65 will be just a hair to small unless you go with a larger A/R. with a 427 and twin T76's 1300 WHP won't be the end. I would opt for the F1-68s with the smaller A/Rs

It depends on your end power goals of course. F1-65s with a really large A/R or F1-68s with a smaller A/R. Both should work but if you aren't going to stop at your inital level you might need more flow.

So f1 68 with the .81a/r. What do you mean 1300whp won't be the end. Thanksw

You are right. But the 76s will leave me some room to grow. Thanks

Backpressure is bad so larger is better of course but going too big beyond a certain point won't net you anything.
