Default My friend car nissan ser spec v 2003 turbo problem

We are installing the kit yesterday, and then when we start the car, start well, but when we add gaz, the car stop. Brand new kit turbonetic, you guys have an idea ?

Make sure the MAF sensor is installed facing the correct direction and is connected.

Yes, but I can run with the car, but when it's time to go in boost, the redline come in. I can go slowly at hi rpm, but when the turbo spool, the redline in comming. You know what I mean ?

Usually that is a MAF sensor error. What year is the car? Did you already install the Unichip or get the ECU back from flashing?

I got the unichip, it's on the car right now. Did you think that the unichip can have an issue or error ?

It's possible. Can you hook up an OBD2 monitor and see what the MAF voltage is at idle, mild load, and under boost?

Wait, the car is an 03 with a Unichip? That's not right. The Unichip only works on the 04-06 Spec. The 02-03 needs an ECU relfash as the Unichip wont work. That would explain why you are seeing a MAF sensor error as the Unichip isn't able to clamp the MAF voltage at below 4.5V
