HPC Compressor Wheels
Hi
After purchasing a T70 previously and an HPC 69. Both measure 69mm on the inducer, the T70 measures 97mm on the exducer and the HPC-69 82mm only. Why is that? Which wheel flows higher? From what I’ve read the smaller exducer T69 is forged billet and the higher flowing wheel? What effects would the smaller exducer have?
Also may I have the dimensions on the other HPC wheels on offer as well as the flow rates.

The exducer is smaller because it can be. With a billet wheel you can make the exducer smaller and thinner but its still stronger than the cast wheel. By decreasing the physical size and weight of the compressor wheel it will spool up faster and by making the exducer slightly smaller it reduces drag when the compressor starts spinning up making it more efficienct

Thanks and I assume the F1-68 spins them upto peak efficiency better than a F1-65 even on a 4 cylinder?

the F1-68 and F1-65 are both very efficient turbine wheels but the 68 is larger and can flow more air.
