GT-K 850 seal problem
Hi
Am helping i friend with an Supra engine with an GT-K 850 turbo, the engine had worn cylinders and a lot of blow by, the engine runs on E85 and alot of the E85 traveled into the oil pan, and mixed with the oil, sow the engine bearings got destroid and the engine was totaly damaged.
Now we have rebulid the whole engine, bored with new pistons, bearings and everything and it works great, BUT, the turbo is smoking like hell, the oil just travels strait in the turbine housing, sow my question is, could all the E85 in the oil the first time, have damage the oil selas in the GT-K?
And whats the price to get the turbo rebuild with new bearing and seals?

If the E85 got into the oil pan it absolutely could have comprimised the bearing seals on the turbo. Typically a rebuild starts at $250 and goes up depending on what parts need to be replaced. If you contact the service team at 805-581-0333 (USA phone number) they can work with you on getting the turbo in for that rebuild and working up an estimate for it.
