Default Turbo ID Request

T-23921 Gold colored back plate. I want to rebuild this turbo cause I think the seals are bad although it's got no play at all. I want to know the info so that I buy the appropriate rebuild kit.

Thanks in advance.

Super T04E, ball bearing 54 trim. You won't be able to rebuild this on your own though as ball bearing units require a VSR balance after the rebuild. Turbonetics would need to rebuild this unit.

How much would that cost? My turbo has a little bit of play (up, down, side to side looking straight at the compressor) but it does not touch the housing at all. No play inwards or outwards though so I'm thinking it might just be the seals. How much would it cost to rebuild it with you guys if it's just a seal job?

Typically a rebuild starts at $250 and goes from there depending on what parts need to be replaced

Sent while on the go

Is there anything included in the $250 or that is just inspection? Again, thanks a lot for your help.

That's typically a standard rebuild process. Contact Service 805-581-0333 for more information.
