Default Turbo identification

Hi im new in this forum and im french so ill try my best.
A friends of mine buy me a tubo kit for my vr6 but im not sure what turbo is that. theres a small plate on the compresor an i can read Turbocharger T-11890 is there a way to know what tubo is that whit this number???

They are checking on the unit with the build team. The serial number is too old to be in the build computer so they are going to try and find the build records.

Sorry but it appears they don't have any build documentation for this unit. If you can measure the compressor and turbine wheels I can probably tell you what size they are.

Thats the inlet of the compressor cover. What I would need to know is the measurement of the actual compressor and turbine wheels to tell you what size and trim they are. You would need to remove both the compressor and turbine cover and measure the diameter of the blades of the wheels and I could tell you with some accuracy what size and trim they are.

if i remove the comrpessor cover nothings gonna fall down? an anything do i have to knoe before removing??
