Roger, curious what the cost is for a new T3 super 60..???...See it on the webste but price is not listed on the super 60 series...can I buy direct or have to go through a distributor...???...Also,is it possible to buy one without the compressor and turbine housings,to keep the cost down,as I already have these.Just the bearing section and the wheels...???

Just the stage 1,this onehttp://www.turboneticsinc.com/produc...category_id=73

Thanks...

Greg

Greg the serial number should be a decal on the gold or blue backing plate. Now as far as a price on a new turbo contact:

Greg @ Gspec 760-535-2259

He is an authorized dealer of Turbonetics and can get you great prices on either a new center section or turbo. We are having a sale on the turbos which right now will be pretty much the same price as a new one. The other option is getting it sent back to us for a evalution and price quote.

OUCH.....G Spec, that you recomended, quoted me $995 for just the standard stage Super 60 T3.I can get it through one of our Turbo Dodge vendors for $725,and he adds an additional year warranty on top of Turbonetics year.http://turbosunleashed.com/shop/prod...roducts_id=125

Okay, knowing this would not be an official quote, which I wouldn't get until I actually send the turbo in,can you give me a top of the head estimate for a rebuild knowing it needs a new shaft and standard stage super 60 compressor wheel.I'm just looking to see which way would be more cost effective at this point.

How do I go about getting it sent in for an actual quote.???

Thanks again.....I feel like i'm being a pain in the ***

Greg

Greg no worries on helping you but the rebuild can cost anywhere from $200 to the price of a new turbo. If we rebuild the turbo there is a $50 charge to evaluate it. Once we take it apart we would contact you and let you know the price qoute. If you decide to rebuild the turbo then that initial payment of the inspection will automatically go into that price of the rebuild however in some cases the internals end up being so bad that replacing the unit would be the cheapest and most effective way of getting the turbo back to specs. If you rebuild we give you a 90 day warranty but if you decide on a new unit it would be a full year from the date of purchase. If you need to have the turbo inspected you need to contact Benita for a IA number and she will instruct you on what to do.
