Default T66 oil and water line thread sizes

I have a T66 turbo (has the gold back plate on the compressor housing). I need to know the thread size for the oil inlet and oil return. I also need to know the thread size for the water feed and return. I did some searching on the forum and it seems like one of the water threads is ?16AN, but I am not sure if it applies to this turbo and the other port. I would buy the Turbonetics water line kit, but I already have ?6AN bungs welded to my intake for the coolant feed, so I need to use them.

Also, do I need to use an oil restrictor on the turbo? If so, what type (if there are differences)?

Thanks for the help.

The oil inlet is a -3 AN. The oil outlet is a -10 AN if I recall. The water line ports are -16 AN

Thanks Robert. Do I need to use an oil restrictor on the turbo? If so, what type (if there are differences)?

Turbonetics does not recommend the use of an oil restrictor with any of their units. There is however an excellent thread on oiling tips here:

Robert, I saw this thread where you mention that the thread size in the cartridge is 16mm:

http://www.turboneticsownersclub.com...il+water+feeds

Does that mean I can buy a 16mm to -6 adaptor to run my lines? Or am I reading this incorrectly?

Adaptor here: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

Thanks.

It might work but I honestly wouldn't know without buying the pats and trying and I hate to tell you to do that when I'm not sure myself.

I fully understand. I borrowed a friend's digital caliper last night and the ports are 16mm. -16 would be too large.

I will post up pics of my Z when it's complete.

Thanks for all the help.
