04 g35 exhaust inlet pipe broke

Hey,
Any other G or Z's out there that has had this problem???
The welds on the mounting tabs on the inlet pipe that conect to the ac compressor broke off the pipe... WTF!!! As this happend on the weekend and this car is my sol meas of trans I had to remove it weld the cracks and fab new mounting tabs.

That's kind of a random spot. I have not seen the turbine inlet pipe bracket just break off.

My best recommendation is for you not to "pre-load" that point. Pre-loading + vibration is the only explanation.

If you purchased the kit new within a year, you should give us a call and speak to the customer service department for a warranty claim.
