Default What kind of oil restrictor would I need and what size?

I have an 03 Chevy Silverado SS 408 cu with a strokerkit and an STS intercooler system with an upgraded blow-off valve along with a Turbonetics ballbearing model # T-43155. I've got too much oil pressure going to the turbo. What kind of oil restrictor would I need and what size? Also what would be the best location for it's placement?

How much oil pressure is going to the unit now? Typically Turbonetics doesn't recommend running any oil restrictors on their units.

There's 50 psi at idle and about 60 give or take at WOT..recently i had to dump the intercooler out because of all of the oil that built up. I was told an oil restrictor will take care of that problem

60 PSI is not too much. At WOT on my 350 I would typicall see above 60 PSI going to the bearing. What you do need to check is the drain. You need a good gravity drain from the bearing of at least -10 AN in size or oil will back in the bearing causing it to seep through the compressor side seal. if the drain can't be routed properlly you should look at getting a scavenge pump to keep the oil flowing well.

Ok, so from my understanding, if I add an oil restrictor, oil will leak through the compresser-side seal thus the reason why so much oil accumulated in my intercooler, right? So to avoid that, I'd have to measure the oil outlet hole (drain) to at least -10 AN, if not then route the hole, if not get a scavenge pump. Question: What unit of measurement is AN? Also, any particular style/brand scavenge pump and location?

No I'm saying that the oil leak is the present issue. Adding an oil restrictor might starve the bearing of oil and damage it. -10 AN is a standard size that should be available online in several places. Sorry I'm on the road and can't look it up right now. Check out Earls fittings for some more info on the line and scavenge pump

What site would you recommend for getting ahold of a drain or scavenge pump for this particular turbo?

Update: I was looking around underneath where the turbo's located and I saw that there's a scavenge pump. Its still pumping oil so I'm assuming the internal turbo seal has blown because the truck wasn't tuned after turbo installation. I'm assuming because of the truck idling so high, the scavenge pump couldn't keep up and blew the seals. Does that seem right to you?

It's certainly possible yes
