Default Another Aussie turbonetics user v.Project Daily700

Since i'm new to this forum, i'll just cut and past all this from another forum i'm on as i'm way to lazy to just type it all out again

Well I figured i'd make a thread about this car of mine.

This is my daily driver and currently makes 392rwhp(on current tune). Factory options were leather interior, premium stereo. Car runs a T56 6 speed and is powered by an I6 DOHC Turbo 4L engine

Currently modifications are:
AWC Carbon fibre bonnet
Nizpro Plenum
Nizpro injectors (roughly 700cc)
Nizpro intercooler
Typhoon twin plate clutch
Walbro fuel pump
Pod filter with heat shield
remapped factory ecu
3" metal cat
Nizpro Cobra valvesprings
18x7.5 and 18x10" Works Miester S1's (not on car, sitting at dads workshop for months as he is too lazy to send them over)

Current pics of car:

Best run so far is 13.2 @ 110mph @ boostcruising drag day 2006

Now the fun stuff.. car developed a boost leak problem somewhere (would go to 14psi then die to 9psi very quickly) and was losing lots of power. Sent to workshop to trouble shoot and we found the wastegate was shagged (known problem). So replaced the wastegate actuator with a stronger item, also have sent the plenum back to Nizpro to get pressure tested for any cracks. This all happened while I was out of state, also.. I am heading off to europe in 3 weeks so i don't really need the car.. so here is my new shopping list happening this month and next

CP pistons
Atomic Rods
billet oil pump
new water pump
new thermostat
fully ballanced crank and rotating assembly
decked and bored
cometic head gasket
bigger cams (unknown spec atm not finalised)
4" turbo back exhaust with 5" cannon to stir the ricers
another remap to match the new items and run more boost (2bar here we come)

More of an update

So went to the workshop today to catch up with the guys, the heads off being cleaned up and prepped, still debating the clutch and revs as it might be a bit heavy for 7500rpm but we'll see. Might end up selling it and buying a lighter twin plate or going triple plate. Fuel system is being fabricated atm and the manifold/gate should arrive later this week.

So we got there and this is what i saw :noes:

But that is ok because these bits arrived

Pistons

balancer

head studs/mainstuds

Oh whats this :run:

compared to my K810i

exhaust side

Latest news on the build was it all got delayed due to person making the manifold taking his time. Currently also looking in to swapping the turbo for a wet bearing item as the current 1 I have is dry bearing.

Fingers crossed I get it back soon...
