I just have a few simple questions about this kit.
Does this kit require trimming of the crash guard or any other trimming?
Does this kit require any Tranny upgrade like Valve body upgrades or anything like that?
No and no in that order
Thanks!

NO cutting to the crash gaurd. I really like that about my kit. I believe its 100% bolt on so no tranny upgrades. I'm sure if you start upgrading after the turbo kit then tranny work would need to be done. I hear the a/t tC give out at 250whp. This kit should put you right below that in "out of the box" form.

Thanks for the input, I really like that I wont have to cut into anything, I saw that you have to trim the corner off something in a thread on Scionlife, But I don't really mind that.
I am definetly gonna grab one of these kits for my auto in the next week or two.
I hear that anything over 250 horsepower makes the auto tranny slip and I think i have read that people are dynoing at 244.1 so that should be alright then
Thanks

Its actually a VERY minor grinding of the trans dipstick support bracket. Inconsequential at best..

Thats good news, I cant wait to get this kit. With this kit does the ECU have to relearn AFR and stuff? or does the EMS interface and fix all that good stuff. Sorry if these are n00b question, I am kinda novice, But rest assured I know my way around a car.[/quote]

The Unichip will take over the timing and fuel load tables. No time needed to relearn per say. Might be a good idea to have a wideband installed. If not jump on a dyno and double check your AFR...

Umm, I have a problem...
I am currently installing the turbo kit anddddd I am at the place where you take off the Oil Sender thingie is,...
The instructions tell me to rethread the hole with a 1/8 npt tap...
I can not find this in my kit, I looked through and through
anyone got a picture of what this tool may look like?
:/
thanks

Heres what it looks like:
Although if your kit came with a 1/8" BSPT fitting it may just thread in. Do you have a silver fitting on the oil feed assembly. If so attempt to thread it in but don't force it if it doesn't feel like its going in.

Yeah mine said that too but they included a almost crome looking side as a adaptor instead of tapping. Prolly if you ever take off the turbo kit. If you'd like I'll try and take a pic for you tomorrow. Just let me know.

Yes I believe that was a change to the kit so that people wouldn't have to run a tap through their motor....
