350z wastegate dump tube revision pipe.
There has been some confusion on the new kits that have been shipping out pertaining to updated pipe that replaces two pipes on the old kit. On the instructions ( wastegate relocation supplement ) shipping out with most kits. Part numbers 21200 and 21427 are no longer parts of the kit. We have revised a new pipe part number 21824 which allows more movement under load as before. The instructions however have not been updated so upon inspection of supplied parts the customer may be missing part numbers 21200 and 21427 but have a new pipe that looks nothing like anything pictured on the parts list of the instructions. The wastegate dump tube 2 ( PN 21427 ) and waste dump tube 1 ( PN 21200 ) mate together however since the revision one pipe is all that is needed. I have enclosed a picture of the new revision pipe next to the two old pipes we included in the past. The older parts however can still be purchased if needed same as the new revision. I do not have an actual install picture but if someone does please post it so others can see. I myself still have the old setup otherwise I'd post a picture myself. I hope this clears up some confusion for anyone who has purchased a new kit or aquired a used kit.

I have a g35 and it has the same pipe for the wastegate. My question is if I don't use this pipe and block off the wastegate port where the other end of this pipe connects to, will that allow the wastegate to just vent to atmosphere and cause no harm to the engine?

You'll need to think about what is directly under the wastegate discharge and make sure you aren't going to melt something which would cause damage later. You'll also want to validate how much boost you are making after you do that as some people have seen increased boost pressure when doing this depending on their exhaust system.

i'm seeing about 2.2psi boost creep with this kit for a 350z. Will this updated wastegate pipe eliminate that boost creep? Also, will Turbonetics do an exchange or will it cost extra to correct this problematic part design? Thanks!

All remaining kit parts have been sold to Treadstone Performance so you'll need to contact them regading the part. As for revision pipe yes this addresses boost creep.

Thanks for your reply Robert.
If the wastegate from the old design is dumped to atmosphere, would that solve the boost creep problem or will it still remain? I'm having difficulty seeing if there is any design difference because Treadstone says the new wastegate dump tube simply resists cracking better than the original Turbonetics design. The original post's pictures don't work anymore, hence my question.
Here is the current setup on my 350z that is still giving me overboost with the Halman manual boost controller:

It looks like you already have the revised pipe. What exhaust are you running with the kit?
