Default T66 vs Hurricane 6665 ?

Hi

My friend runs a 2.5liter 16valve volvo engine with a T66 turbo with 68mm exhaust wheel, T4 AR 1.15 hausing, this turbo delivered 503whp on 98 octane @ 21psi - full boost at 4000rpm

I have the same engine spec, but its just not stroked to 2.5liter, its only 2.3liters, sow am asking, should i run the same T66 turbo only with a smaler AR on the exhaust housing, or shoud i go down to the hurricane 6665 ?

Or anyone recomend some other model?

Greatings from Norway....

.2L of displacement difference shouldn't DRASTICALLY alter the performance but if you like the performance from his unit then a one size smaller A/R should do the trick with the slightly smaller displacement.

Yes his engine start building boost at 2000rpm, and it just goes all the way to 7000rpm, its a funny car to drive, so i gues i will be geting the same turbo, but what is the next/smaler AR Robert? 0.91 0.96? And does it come with a t3 flange or only t4?

best regards from norway.

There's a 1.00 and a variety of other options beneath that. See here:
