Default What turbo is this? Robert can you help please?

I have a Turbonetics T3/T4 with the following numbers on it - T15327 on a sticker on the compressor housing, and 20515 stamped on the housing. The wheels are as follows: Turbine 65mm and 56.6mm, Compressor 76.45mm and 54mm. Is this a T04E 50 trim stage 3 turbo? The exhaust housing seems to be a .63. I want to change the compressor wheel for more power - what spec could I change to that will be better (car is not a daily driver and can change both wheels if need be). Engine is a 2.0l 16v VW with correct compression for boosting.

Many thanks in advance.

Well for starters what are your power goals? The measurements sound right for a T04E 50 trim compressor section and Stage 3 T3 turbine section. What amount of boost are you looking to run? What are the final hp numbers at the wheels you are looking for?

Thanks Robert. I am aiming for 350 whp at around 1.2 bar boost if that is at all possible with this turbo. If not attainable, can you suggest a combination wheel change retaining the existing housings and maybe provide a guess to the whp that can be attained?

Many thanks.

Max flow on a T04E 50 trim with that turbine is 470 Crank HP. It should get you to 350 WHP with enough boost...
