Sorry Robert if this is 2nd time you've seen this question....
So I switched my W.G. spring from the 9lb (red) to the 7lb (white) and my boost gauge didn't change, still at 8.5. What is up?!
Yes I have a good reason why I want it to release @ 7 ish lbs instead of 8ish....not throwing away perfectly good H.P.!!!

Not that I haven't traced the vacuum lines before but checking them again I found the lines coming of the boost solenoid were backwards. Even with the B.C. off, I couldn't get boost to drop even with a lower lbs spring in wastegate. Good info for anyone else running into this problem.
